Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – Oak Tree Planting Ceremony

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – Oak Tree Planting Ceremony

On Tuesday 29th March the Deputy Lieutenant of Lancashire joined us in order to start our Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II. Dr. John Cater has deputised for the royal family on many occasions and he gifted school an oak tree to plant in our grounds as part of the Queen’s Great Canopy. Dr. John delivered a fantastic presentation all about our Queen and we joined in the fun by waving our Union Jacks and singing a song for the Queen. It was a great way to commemorate such an amazing monarch!
