Chorley SSP Cross Country Inter Schools Competition

On Saturday, a beautifully sunny day, 19 children boys from year 3-6 took part in the Chorley SSP Schools Cross Country Competition; a 2.25km course around Astley Park in Chorley. 100s of children from Chorley schools took part and the competition was tough. All of our team did Rivington proud by running their very best and enjoying the challenge. Congratulations to all of you and in particular – Charlie D who came 4th in the year 5/6 boys’ race and Archie N. who came 3rd in the year 5/6 boys’ race. Both the boys and the girls teams came in 11th place overall, which is a fantastic achievement! Congratulations to everyone who took part!
