(Rivington Childcare including Breakfast Club was awarded outstanding by Ofsted in 2012)

The food is healthy, balanced and nutritional. Staff take care to ensure that all children’s needs are catered for. We encourage the children with their table manners and independence skills when selecting and pouring.

We will achieve this by:

  • Setting our standards for breakfast as high as lunchtimes. An ideal school breakfast should consit of one portion of fruit (this can be fruit juice), some form of complex / wholegrain carbohydrate, and some dairy produce and be low in sugarand salt.
  • Pupils will be able to enjoy their breakfast in a pleasant environment seated at a table whilst chatting to their friends.

If you would like any more information about Breakfast Club, please come into school or contact the school office and speak to Miss Redmayne, Miss. Shore or Mrs. Hitchen.
